I wanted to put up a quick playlist to start the new year for you. To facilitate this, I’m trying out Project Playlist. Not sure how long it’ll be around if they get sued out of existence. I’ll work on turning this into a real podcast when I get a chance.
This playlist features music from Astronautalis, Anberlin, Relient K, Fall Out Boy, The All-American Rejects, Brave Saint Saturn, The Graduate, and Snow Patrol.
Episode 24: The last six months have been busy. I’ve been on the run from zombies. I managed to find a double-barreled shotguns and ammo cache and have holed up in a building with an active wifi connection and microphone long enough to post a new episode.
Here’s the new music: starting with a track from Japanese rockers HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, followed by Swedish post-hardcore band Blindside, a band from Illinois called The Graduate, Finnish symphonic power metal band Nightwish, Minnesotan punk outfit Motion City Soundtrack, and closing things off is a band from Ohio called Relient K.

Episode 20: We’ve arrived at 2008! 20 episodes, woohoo! This episode is a look back at some of the best music released in 2007 including flavors ranging from pop-punk to indie to hip-hop. Features tracks from Mae, Anberlin, All Time Low, Saul Williams, The Weakerthans, MxPx, Relient K, and Yellowcard.

Music features the new single from Motion City Soundtrack, new tunes from Yellowcard, Relient K, and Bad Religion. For additional flavor, we’ve got The Dropkick Murphy’s (American-Irish punk) and The Weakerthans (Canadian indie rock). Additionally, a couple new finds w/ songs from Asteria and Meriwether.

I’m a hoser, and the show is off schedule. Sorry about that. Without making any more excuses, let’s get to business. This show’s got a lot of good stuff and I hope you enjoy it.
