The Old is New, The New is Old

Posted by walter | May 31st, 2006 | 10:38 am

Listen to show seven now packed with six awesome tracks with five times the energy of your average radio station in the hottest of the four seasons with three new-to-the-show bands. On this edition, there’s two types of songs: old and new. Bet you can’t listen to just one.

Actually, I’m sure you could, but you’ll have more fun if you don’t.

With Every Word We’re Growing Distant

Posted by walter | March 19th, 2006 | 9:27 am

Just letting you know I’m here. I safely returned from Guatemala earlier this week. There won’t be any Guatemalan music influence on show #3 (though I may include some on #4). In any case, expect show #3 to come out in the next couple of days. I’m wrapping up the song selection process and just need to piece it together now.

Oh, and what’s the deal with girls breaking hearts lately? Some of my friends have been crushed bad recently so that may show up in some of the songs.

Some News:
Rumour has it that Mae has been signed to Capitol Records (via Absolutepunk). I’m proud of these guys — I’ve got both of their LPs and and the music is all good. It’ll be interesting to see what they come up with for their new album (they’re currently writing/recording). But it’ll be nice to see these guys get some more widespread recognition. They’ve got talent and deserve it.

Show number two provides some energy for the soul. Yeah, that’s right, this is like Red Bull or whatever insanely caffeinated beverage you use to get juiced up, but instead it’ll make you want to rock wild or mosh your face off. So what’re you waiting for? Listen up, and listen good!
