Hey again, it’s been about two weeks, so here’s show #4. I thought about making this all ska, but I changed my mind. If you love ska, I apologize, but I still gave you some for an intro. Also, I added some Guatemalan flavor with alt-rock band “Versus” who I know absolutely nothing more about. This one’s got a mix of styles for added flair — hope you enjoy. Anyway, not a whole lot more to say. Dig in!

Note: I’m looking for more information about this band, but at the moment this is all I’ve found. Not exactly an easy one to do a search for and I don’t think the band exists anymore. If you know anything at all about them, send me an email por favor.

That’s all! If it’s not enough, check out some of the artists in the “Elsewhere on the Web” section. They’re not all punk, but if they’re up there they got my attention. If you’ve got any suggestions of what I should put “Elsewhere,” shoot an email my direction.

Just letting you know I’m here. I safely returned from Guatemala earlier this week. There won’t be any Guatemalan music influence on show #3 (though I may include some on #4). In any case, expect show #3 to come out in the next couple of days. I’m wrapping up the song selection process and just need to piece it together now.
Oh, and what’s the deal with girls breaking hearts lately? Some of my friends have been crushed bad recently so that may show up in some of the songs.
Some News:
Rumour has it that Mae has been signed to Capitol Records (via Absolutepunk). I’m proud of these guys — I’ve got both of their LPs and and the music is all good. It’ll be interesting to see what they come up with for their new album (they’re currently writing/recording). But it’ll be nice to see these guys get some more widespread recognition. They’ve got talent and deserve it.
