Where’s the Life that You Promised?

Posted by walter | December 14th, 2008 | 7:10 pm

Episode 24: The last six months have been busy. I’ve been on the run from zombies. I managed to find a double-barreled shotguns and ammo cache and have holed up in a building with an active wifi connection and microphone long enough to post a new episode.

Here’s the new music: starting with a track from Japanese rockers HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, followed by Swedish post-hardcore band Blindside, a band from Illinois called The Graduate, Finnish symphonic power metal band Nightwish, Minnesotan punk outfit Motion City Soundtrack, and closing things off is a band from Ohio called Relient K.

Posted by walter | May 10th, 2008 | 1:05 am

Episode 22: In this show I give you a six-pack of tunes with six artists never before featured on Just An Alias. I’m bringing you Rodrigo y Gabriela, Sprites, Metric, Spoon, Kimya Dawson and Antsy Pants, and The Rolling Stones.

Where’s the emo you ask? In this episode I’m taking a brief diversion to fit in some indie music I’ve been wanting to play for a while as well as a classic tune from The Rolling Stones.
